Of course, I've read numerous reports that suggest Alcantara does not hold up well at all over time. It's soft, and my palms don't stick to it, even when they're all swampy. This one on the other hand is super soft when typing, makes much less noise. It doesn't cover the taskbar at all like the slimpen 2 ProX version would do.Īnd I can actually compare this to the Pro8 Alcantar slimpen 2 keyboard version which I had 8 months ago (I gave it back to the store to save money) and I remember that one was really loud when you are typing. I got it home and tried it out now for a few days and I cannot be happier than this! Was the best choice ever!
